A STIMULATING ENVIRONMENT

All our design courses offer a stimulating, creative environment with brand-new dedicated studio space. From creative collaborative spaces to our industry pitching room, our studios emulate commercial design working. You will also have access to Mac rooms, a wide variety of image capture devices and even Raspberry Pi.

The campus also has a range of Adobe Credited digital technicians who support all our design software applications taught both online and on campus.

INDUSTRY CONNECTIONS

All design students at USW work on live competitions, projects and industry visits.

We have unique partnerships with local, national and international industries. Our partnerships provide students with opportunities to take on work experience on cutting-edge TV shows, films and video game productions. Supported by expert teaching, our design students have worked on professional briefs from real clients, including Nike, British Airways and Cardiff Blues.

Graduate Success

Design students from the University have an established record of awards success, collecting prizes at the D&AD New Blood Designer Award, Young Creative Network Awards, and the Caramelite Prize. Many of our former students have worked on blockbuster films and games that have been nominated for BAFTAS and Oscars.
