Our business degrees are recognised or accredited by independent industry professional bodies, providing a stamp of approval on the quality and content of our courses. From the dual accreditation in our Business and Management degree, to our CIPD-approved Human Resource Management course and CIPS-accredited Logistics and Procurement course, you will gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours valued and required by employers.

We work closely with industry partners across all our courses. We have more than 100 partnerships with various companies to provide the best links for our students.  

Our lecturers and staff have worked, and continue to work, within their industries. We also have on-campus clinics to provide excellent consultancy opportunities for students.

INTERNSHIPS AND WORK PLACEMENTS  

Industry placements and internships are an integral part of the courses at the South Wales Business School as we strive to create graduates who are prepared for tomorrow.  

These opportunities provide a gateway to your future employment, while helping to build your confidence and preparing you for the future through real-world experiences. That’s why we highly recommend our students undertake a work placement through an internship or year-long sandwich placement.

BUSINESS CLINIC  

Join our voluntary consultancy team in Treforest to help real-life clients with business queries as you develop essential workplace skills and behaviours. The service is offered to all types of companies from SMEs to multi-national and non-profit organisations and gives students additional opportunities to gain real-life business experience while studying with us in the Business School.
